The Abrahamic Reunion

The Abrahamic Reunion is a group of religious and spiritual leaders from the Holy Land, including men and women representing Judaism, Christianity, Islam and the Mowahhidoon (Druze) religion. The program is simple but profound. Several times a year the Abrahamic Reunion gathers together in a town or village in the Holy Land, bringing together large numbers of people who may have never met people of other faiths. They host a meal, have discussion, share prayers, tell stories about interfaith activities, teach the skills of peacebuilding, and take a public walk together for peace. Gatherings draw men and women from all walks of life. For many participants, it is the first time they have experienced religious Jews, Muslims, Christians and Druze interacting in friendship and harmony. Individual programs vary according to site and to the current situation, and often receive significant press attention. Afterwards, local participants are assisted in thinking through ways that they can continue to build upon the spirit of harmony experienced during the event.
